Registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the CWL Zambia – USA Branch unites women of faith in fellowship, service, and spiritual growth. With a deep commitment to caring for communities in the USA, Zambia, and beyond, the organization empowers women to live out their faith through action.

The Catholic Women’s League (CWL) USA Branch is rooted in the teachings of the Catholic Church.  The organization fosters a community where women are empowered to live out their faith through action. With a strong commitment to caring for communities both locally and globally, the CWL USA Branch encourages women to make a lasting impact and to embody love and service in all their endeavours. Through faith-driven initiatives, the League works to create a meaningful and lasting difference in the world around us.

What We Do

Faith in Action, Love in Service

The Catholic Women’s League is dedicated to living out our faith through meaningful action. Caring with love, we bring women together to grow spiritually, serve communities, support charitable causes, and create spaces for learning and fellowship.

2024

The Catholic Women’s League Zambia – USA Branch held a retreat from November 21 to 24, 2024.  Auxiliary Bishop Greg Kelly of the Diocese of Dallas celebrated the Commissioning Mass at St. Raphael Retreat Center in Dallas, Texas, on November 23, 2024.  He was assisted by two Zambian Priests, Father Hector Kalaluka, OMI, PhD, and Father Abraham Chimese, OMI.  The theme for the special Mass was “Called to Serve as Catholic Women’s League in Charity, Work, and Loyalty, Strengthened by the Holy Eucharist.”
